Buyer loose $32 M in project Donald Trump was sued March 15, 2009 by buyers who lost millions of dollars in deposits on a failed hotel-condo in the Mexican border city of Tijuana. In December 2008, a Mexican developer, PB Impulsores, told buyers that Trump licensed his name and was not an investor. Ivanka Trump told the AP in 2007 that her father "is the boss" when asked about his role in the project.
